![]() I’m going to do the second playthrough now that I’ve had a playthrough like this. And since using the radios to warn yourself of the island doesn’t really change anything, I believe it’s POSSIBLE that the second playthrough IS for freeing the ghosts. The reason why I think any of this matters is if we’re able to get the special ending in the first playthrough, that means that ISN’T the goal of the second playthrough. I think its important to listen to them all in full (even the wishing well one). Something else: It seems like listening to the 102 radio tour guide better prepares you for choices you have to make. Then when it was time to unlock the Adler gate I walked off saying I wanted to go find Clarissa and with my new WAL radio I found the last anomaly and all the Adler Letters. When it was time to decide to go search for Clarissa or Ren, I said Ren, THEN instead first I went and found as many anomalies as possible. ![]() He doesn’t follow you to the second playthrough so I figure if there’s any chance of preserving Jonas’ memory then I wanna take it. I apologized to everyone at every opportunity. In the tower I walked away when Jonas and Ren were fighting (I walked down the stairs until they promised to stop arguing.) I refused to choose between Ren Jonas and Nona. I avoided scaring or worrying Jonas and listened to his stories. I encouraged Ren and Nona’s relationship when it was appropriate (didn’t force it). I stayed silent during Truth-Or-Slap and let Clarissa slap me. I never complained (not to the ghosts nor to Clarissa). I’m talking about the first round of Oxenfree and its ‘sequel’ timeline Oxenfree+ ![]() Its not the first time I’ve played (more like the eighth). The ending where you remind the ghosts of their names and they go in peace- I got that ending on the first playthrough.
